Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware Notice

I've downloaded the MS AntiSpyware programme and I am getting a message with a blue question mark that says:
"An Internet Explorer Web browser object requires your approval. A Web browser object is a program that can change Internet Explorer settings. This change!generally occurs when software is installed. You can allow this change if it is recognized and expected."
It wants me to choose Allow or Block and there is a link saying "Click for more information about this alert" that brings up another message:
"Microsoft AntiSpyware Help.
Application Agent: Internet Explorer WebBrowser
What does this Application Agent do?
The Internet Explorer WebBrowser Agent monitors changes or additions to Internet Explorer's Web browser.
What is an Internet Explorer WebBrowser?
The Internet Explorer WebBrowser contains information and settings about an instance of Internet Explorer. If these settings are modified or a new WebBrowser is added, this WebBrowser can take control of Internet Explorer, and add toolbars, menus, and buttons."
But there is no other information about what it actually is that I am going to allow or block.
I have Sygate firewall, AVG free edition, and Spybot Search & Destroy running. The only thing I can think of is that I have the Google toolbar installed, could it be that? If so, is there a way to stop MS AntiSpyware telling me every time I start up? Any advice appreciated!

you can block it and see if it causes problems
if you find it is google toolbar or something then start up the program , go to "Tools" then "Real time protection" and they are all listed there , it shows the date they were blocked so just put a tick against the one you just blocked and then go to the bottom of the screen and "unblock it"Ex forum ambassador

I get a lot of these as well, do not know what they are whether to block or allow esp when it says it will affect your system if you block. I do no know whether this is a trick for me to allow it. My AV just done an updpate onlilne and this message pops up, your internet security is turned off and you are at risk, click this red balloon to enable it, is this a trick? The balloon disappears so quick before I could do anything. Thanks.0 -
that message probably flashes up as your AV may on occasions do updates to the main program and it will shut itself down for a second and restart causing the Windows warning message to pop up then vanish as the AV starts again
i would not worry about it unless the warning message stays up
like I say if you initially block it then if it stops something working then go back and unblock it, it will not cause windows to crashEx forum ambassador
