    £19.98 is not a good amount to bid imo. quite likely that somoene else would bid £20 and you would lose out by 2p.

    i would suggest bidding over your max amount by a few pence, not under by a few pence

    I understand your frustration, I have always used a sniper and set at 4 seconds. Try 'bidnip' www.bidnip.com and you can get five free goes before you have to join.
