 Realised my hand has blisters from putting together the bloody shoe rack!
Am plucking up courage to make Chilli Con Carne (from scratch), it's usually OH's dish but I want it tonight so it will fit in with my MealPlan and he's not feeling great (though has gone to do half a day's work) so I will be doing it.
Half list is done but have quite a bit more to go, luckily some of it can wait until after kids go to bed this evening.

    Happy Birthday GreenBee!

List of things still to do -
    Washing into TD
    Clean dining table and chairs
    Clean HighChair
    Throw out chipped mugs
    Wash floor
    Wipe and rearrange fridge
    S&S units
    S&S WM, toaster etc
    Clean hobs
    Clean Windows
    Clean windowsill
    Washing up again
    Shine sink

Take axe to the shoe rack as it's driving me totally crazy now!

Didn't quite get everthing done yesterday that I wanted to - but I had a good reason! I was going to do my downstairs loo and at least break the back of the ironing in the early evening. But my hubby suggested going to look at new kitchen units!!!! Our kitchen is ancient (it was old when we moved in 17 years ago!) so of course I wasn't about to say "oh no I've got to do the ironing!". And when we got back I had fun on B&Qs kitchen planner software -oooh I can't wait!

But I did manage to do the other two bathrooms - really thoroughly for me! And I made soup, hm bread and do my exercises on the wii fit so not a bad day really!

Off to start Tuesday's tasks now - I'll also try to do downstairs loo! No promises about the ironing though!

  • hello all

well i am at home on a study doing my uni work (doing a masters) tried to do some at work yesterday but people talk at you, phone rings etc etc.

anyway got a fair bit done but had enough now, heads hurts and have a nasty cough pretty sure its a chest infection (prone to them) but waiting few days to see if i can shift it with out need for gp and antibitics.

managed not to put heating on today til midday and when turned thermostat it clicked on at 9 degrees!!! didnt feel that cold but feels nicer now its on 15 degrees!!

have cleaned out the rabbits very quickly one of them keeps digging at the ice on grass think he is confused as to where the grass is, other one keeps sitting at door like a dog to come in.

gave away some more clothes on freecycle today so happy about that

and our wii and wii fit came today husband will be pleased we wanted one but couldnt justify buying one so we did some temp work for 3 weeks for the council (few eves and 2 weekends) and got paid £490 after tax in total so we had a cheap weekend away (hotel deal) and brought the wii and all the gadgets we needed for £330.

sorry for rambling on heres hoping for a temp above freezing tonight
  • Well today I have cleaned the bathroom from top to bottom.

The kitchen in nearly done. I will sweep & mop the floor after the freezer on the little fridge has defrosted.

I have finished my ironing! :D

    Later I shall hoover downstairs.

I need to tackle master bedroom & 2 kids rooms. Wonder what we will be doing tomorrow? Is it sad that I can't wait?!!!!
