Hi guys i'm hoping some of you have this tv so you can help me.
We only ever use our sky+box on the tv connected by the scart so we don;t actually use the tv tuner itself.
What happens is when we turn on the tv in order to get to the sky i either have to press tv + sky or turn off the box and back on again for it to transfer to the AUX channel.
On my old tv it used to go automatically to sky when we turned the tv on and was wondering if there was something to set our tv to do this.
Any help would be mucho apreciated!

Are you not using HDMI? You should be?

Somewhere on the tv within the settings will be an auto-change function (there is on the Sony I have just bought) and if using HDMI or Scart, turning them on will change it to the relevant connection and change the screen...
What Pani model tv is it? Have a flick through your user manual...

What your doing now is correct. Its just how theyre designed.
And SKY+ doesnt have HDMI so you can forget about that part.:idea:0 -
Apologies... (With V+)

No worries

I think this can be done from the sky+ end rather than the tv.
On your Sky remote go to 'Services' > '(1)Picture Settings' > 'Scart Control'.
Set this to 'ON' and scroll down to 'Save New Settings' and press 'Select'
Should work next time you turn the tv on0 -
No just tried that and it was already On.
What this does is allows the SkyBox to take control of your scart switch automatically when you press the Sky button only. When it's off the only way I can switch the tv to sky was through it's own AV button on the normal remoteMinds are like parachutes - they only function when open.

Another one to try -
There's also a setting on the Panny TVs.
You first have to be on TV rather than AV cos the menus are slightly different. Then press Menu > Setup. Then scroll down to 'Power on Preference'. Set this to 'AV'.
This has been a bit hit and miss but worth a try.0 -
Oh and if you're using a new scart lead it may be worth trying the old one as some have scart auto select (pin 8 I think).0
