I've had 2 exams. First one I was crapping myself about but it wasn't too bad. However the second one which I thought I would be all good for was a total b****!! Everyone found it hard, and originally in our module spec we got told 2 hours for exam, though we only got 1 and half!

  • At the University I attended - Aberystwyth... then yes. You could expect to have exams Mon - Sat.

Saves them spreading them over 4 weeks!
  • Good luck everyone who has upcoming exams! I only have one in the January diet, but I have forgotten everything over christmas and am panicking because it's my first final! It'll be over by noon on Monday though... can't wait for it to be over!

My Uni does exams Monday to Saturday as well. Mine is on a Saturday afternoon so I had to book the day off work.
  • Oh yeah... loving being a postgraduate! No more exams EVER EVER EVER EVER! YAY!

Sorry, bummer about the exams! They will over before you know it!

We had ours first day back (5th), they put an exam/ timed assessment on the first day back after the holidays for the first 2 years. My tutor who is also head of year 1 and 2 has explained that this is becuase otherwise the first lectures back are wasted, and if they did it before the vaccation then we would be focused on the exam and not get the full benefit of the lectures. Next year they are postponing easter!
