Credit Card Minefield. Which is best for my circumstances?

Hi all.
I don't have a credit card. Paid it off last year feb and just use my maestro card / cash.
Now reason why I am thinking about is as follows:
I do a fair bit of shopping online and got caught out by a "reputable" company that went under and left me £200 out of pocket with virtually no chance of getting anything back as I am well down on the pickings order. Even after speaking to the solicitors that are dealing with the case it doesn't sound hopeful.
Now this obviously would not have happened if I had paid by credit card.
So here's my circumstances:
No Credit card at the mo. Nothing to transfer so starting afresh.
I can pay off the card every month via DD.
Am not in debt and have a clean credit rating.
Any card suggestions so long as it has the Visa logo.
Many thanks.

Near a tree by a river, there's a hole in the ground.

Why Visa logo only? Mastercard is accepted at virtually all the same places.

If he's looking to pay off in full each month, maybe something offering cashback would make more sense?0
