  • Oh well an eventful day is finally almost over.

Dog had to go to the vets (bearing in mind he had 'three marks' on his card for being naughty!) Or should I say he is a 'little agressive in the vets' therefore unless we take him with a muzzle on he is not welcome back! Anyway to cut a very long story short, so far we are down £65 and could be a lot more. He is worth it though.

Stuart, you have a serious problem and its not Swine Flu, what possessed you, whilst ill, to get up at 0600? For goodness sake man, lounge in bed watching re-runs of the A Team and Night-rider, and revel in the fact your wife and daughter must run after after you because YOU'RE NOT WELL!!
In fact you must be old before your time, I remember when my Dad used to work nights, my Grandad would arrive at our house at 08.30 and complain that my Dad was 'missing the best part of the day boy!'.:rotfl:

TPA your Grandfather was spot on that the best time of day is first thing (although unfair on someone who worked through the night!). Have you never had the pleasure of getting up at 0330 and out and about before dawn, listening to the world around slowly stirring - foxes crossing your path and heading home, dragonflies hunting for late flying moths, cattle waking along with the dawn chorus slowly building to a crescendo ..... even the weather can often be better with clear skies before moisture rises and clouds form.... absolutely idyllic :j

I certainly can't believe people choose to miss day light in Spring and Autumn by sleeping through it in the week; I do have a lie in until typically 0730 on Saturdays though and feel guilty at that! Also, I find February a very difficult time each year - insufficient day light and grey skies...

But to make you feel better, I suffer with jet lag when travelling longhaul, so it's not all good news being a morning person and getting up at 0500 does mean I have to be in bed by 2330hrs! :o

Me too....I'm up between 5 and 6 every morning :D I love being up before everyone else...I have a nice quiet coffee either watching what's been going on in the Asian markets (on Bloomberg) or watching the garden grow - Bliss;)

I've been known to catch the NYSE closing bell, the opening of the Asian markets then up again to see their afternoon performance before now.

I don't watch Bloomberg in the morning in the week, it would slow down my 12mins for breakfast and make me late, so just the BBC World Business news at 0530 for me :rotfl:
  • Mad, the pair of you are completely nuts! What could be better than being snuggled up in bed under a:p nice cosy duvet with the puddy cat curled up next to you, purring in your ear??

I don't know what happened to my post last night, I did a mamoth one and only one paragraph printed:confused:

Anyway today has been another NSD:j. I'm getting better at this no spending lark!

I have a pile of pressys to open by the side of my sofa from some fabulous friends and family, i'm hoping there will be some compost in them!:D

Doggys ear is looking better today already, lets hope this keeps up.

MSs are looking pretty short on the ground, but the end of the month always seems to be slow.

Oh poop just remembered I did actually spend something today - 25p on a discounted newspaper, came with a five pound voucher off LIDL so worth the spend.:T

Anyway i'm off to tend my garden:rotfl:.
