    burglar-novatech-copy.jpg who, me

I need to earth up my pots, I've seriously ignored them :o

GG, this is karma, today another 18 strawberry plants arrived, I have no idea why, who from but they look different to my others and already have some 'green' strawberrys on them. Perhaps I'm just colour blind and all my fruit/veg is actually ready to be picked/eaten but I'm just not seeing the right colour.:p
:T:T As long as we don't not have to eat them to judge this tomato war... I'm allergic to raw tomatoes  (cooked they are fine ) :rotfl:

Unless you say I win the war of the tomatos I will force feed you copious amounts of RAW GREEN toms!:rotfl:

My potatos have sprouted again, since being earthed up yesterday:confused:, i'm confused.

Bottoms on the spending front, £5 gone on bits and bobs for hospital visiting (the MIL:eek:)

Wages are all in........................looks like they are all present and correct (makes a change) but its difficult to tell until I actually get my payslip:rolleyes:

We may struggle through this month by the skin of our teeth this month and manage yet again to put all our 'full time' wages into the regular savings however we really are running on the seat of our pants at the moment (good job my pants are rather large!!:rotfl:) In 4 months one of the savers ends so that will free up £500 per month. I wonder if I can sell hubbys body to keep us going for a while:p

Stuart I'm glad you're feeling better, but why 5am?????(Nutter:rotfl:)

Enough of my drivel..i'm off, bye bye.

Stuart, you have a serious problem and its not Swine Flu, what possessed you, whilst ill, to get up at 0600? For goodness sake man, lounge in bed watching re-runs of the A Team and Night-rider, and revel in the fact your wife and daughter must run after after you because YOU'RE NOT WELL!!
In fact you must be old before your time, I remember when my Dad used to work nights, my Grandad would arrive at our house at 08.30 and complain that my Dad was 'missing the best part of the day boy!'.:rotfl:

I have put copious amounts of weedkiller on the one remaining boarder that we havn't touched since last year. Am hoping to get some slate and put some heavy duty lining underneath. Then I can put some more pots of vegetables on it. I now smell like Diesel for some reason!

I managed to spend £10 toay on my lottery tickets for the next 5 weeks.:rolleyes::o

So as hubby doesn't have to pay to take you out for dinner you'll get a bigger present :rotfl:
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I know i'm really sad but I don't want him to get me a 'bigger pressy' I would rather any money be put into the mortgage fund. He (well I did) ordered my pressy last week, a years subscription to Grow Your Own, thats enough for me..and I would like him to make me a naff card rather than spend £5 plus on a naff card!

I think I have spent too much time outside today, my headahces and my face is a little red:o:rotfl:.

See you all later, have to walk the dog now.

I agree with you TPA. I don't need anything so why waste money? When the mortgage is paid off I might think differently but for now quite happy with a hand made card from the kids :o

With a large article on how to ensure green toms turn red?!

I do have problems with very odd dreams but blame you entirely for the one recently where I was painting tomatoes with a red food colouring solution. My sleeping brain obviously extended the madness as I was also ensuring carrots were orange and apples were green.

One day I'll look into dream analysis but daren't at the moment

Hope you have a lovely birthday. Its great you're getting to go to the place you want and as a MS its even better :T

I'm glad i'm not the only nutter here!:rotfl:Seriously though, why waste money just because its my Birthday?

I've already told him! He said its ok along as I don't book any other MS's for that day:rotfl:I had to tell him. otherwise he would have thought I was mad telling him we must a coffee, when neither of us ever drink it normally!

We have just managed to do our weekly shop for the grand sum of £27, we shopped at Lidl and had a £5 off a £30 spend, got loads of fruit and veg, as well as chicken breasts, pork loins, beef joint and some chocolate:o. Actually we have only been spending about £30 a week for the past month or so, shopping in Lidls saves ££, the only thing so far I havn't liked is the mustard!
