Somerfield edit - sorry, it was Morrison's - have Tetley's fruit teas - the ones in the cylindrical tubs - BOGOF atm so I bought 2 :j
When I got home I put them in a pile with my existing Green Tea. Then I noticed. The green tea has 25 bags in every packet. The new ones have only 20 bags.
Is this just a fluke - did green tea always have more bags than the fruit teas, or are Tetley's reducing the contents???
Suspiciously - JM

Blimey - you could have put TEA BAGS in the title - thought you were complaining about the beer... grounds for instant suspension!0

IvanI don't care about your first world problems; I have enough of my own!0 -
LOL sorry, didn't think of beer!!!!
- so I spose it's true I don't go out enuff.
I think a 20% reduction in quantity with no notice is worth noticing by a conscientious MSE'r, though..........
OK OK, I'll go back and edit the title so all you men don't get upset... :beer:Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
I have a tub of green tea downstairs that has a use by date of 2005 on it and it has 25 bags, i also have a tub of vanilla and roobiios (or something) with a use by date of 2005 and that has 20 bags. Last week i bought a tub of mint and a tub of chammomile, both with use by of 2007 and they have 20.
From this i have come to the conclusion that green tea has always had 25 and fruit/herbal teas have always had 20.
By the way, they are on special offer at 40p a pot in Tesco0
