It's so difficult to know where to start looking! Does anyone have suggestions for cameras around to £60 mark? I don't have any special requirements, only that it's suitable for carrying around in my handbag to parties and on holidays etc.
Thanks : )
Thanks : )

Ebuyer have a Samsung 7.2megaixel camera for £50.52, and I'm sure there are cheaper ones on the site as well.
I can recommend Ebuyer, I buy all my electricals and computer equipment from there and find the service excellent,0 -

Thanks for such quick replies! I had been thinking of a Fuji as I've some good reviews. Is it worth spending a little extra to get the J10 rather than the A850?Bingo - £107.02 :T0

The A850 if a starter camera from Fuji( still a good camera). If you want to spend a bit more the J10 is a step up from the A850. The J10 has it's own battery & uses 2 types of memory card, not to be too technical but the iso also goes up to 1600 so it has a better spec than the A850. It is also a bit slimmer, so uses up less room in your bag.
I have an F10 with an internal battery, when fully charged it takes about 500 shots, so plenty of power if you take it on holiday.

Ah brilliant, the J10 it is then! Saves on battery costs anyway over time so sounds worth it. Thanks to everyone for your advice : )Bingo - £107.02 :T0

I've just bought a Samsumg S1065 from Argos - £58.29 - it has lots of great reviews on the Argos site.
It's simple to use, neat and I'm very pleased with the picture quality. Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!

I've just bought a Canon Powershot A560 from Argos for £59 which seems pretty good though I haven't had chance to give it a full test yet. It has a 4x optical zoom and a viewfinder and a sensible number of megapixels. It is quite chunky though. Here's a review

If I would have been happy without a viewfinder I would have gone for the Samsung S1065 also at Argos.
