Hiya
I have absoutly no clue about laptops so I would really appreciate any help.
I am after a laptop I don't mind if its new or reconditioned, I don't what is ans isn't a good make and I want to be able to:
- Surf the web
- Download music
- Watch/download films
- Burn cd's and maybe dvd's
- Watch dvd's and play CD's
- Be able to use the new wirelessly
- Good speakers to be able to listen to music and watch films
- Would quite like a good battery life
Also sometimes when I watch films on my laptop it overheats and just turns itself off which I don't really want mine to do. And I don't want a fun that will be really noisey.
Thanks very much for any help and recommendations.

Budget?
To be honest pretty much any new laptop will do what you've asked, some a little faster than others. The one sticky point is good speakers. That'll be harder to find. Personally I've purchased additional speakers / sub for my laptop but that's not great if you're listening to music on the move.
A quiet fan will also be harder to find, you'd need to read reviews on laptops for that. See what user's experience was of them.0 -
Hiya
i didn't really want to spend any more than about £300. Would I be able to get a laptop with the spec I want for around this price?
Thanks0
