egg card

I have a old Egg Card with a direct debit setup on a old current account. I was intending on using the Egg Card online and just wanted to know is it okay to pay for the transaction immediately using a debit card on the egg site.
Also does anyone know if they send a e-statement with an agreed date and amount for the Direct Debit, can you make a immediate payment by debit card to cancel the direct debit being processed on the date.
thanks.

Both questions answered on the Egg site...

A word of warning...mess up on the timing and you'll probably incur a £16 failed DD charge because if the DDI hasn't been used for over 13 months/400 days then it will most probably have lapsed under the dormancy rules.
PS: Someone will move this to the credit card board.0
