Probably stoopid Q- putting video onto ipod help pls!

Hi
I have loads of recorded TV on my hard drive in dvr-ms format.
Have just tried to use handbrake to convert this for ipod, -I now have a file in MP4 format, but I don't seem to be able to add it to the itunes library?

Where have I gone wrong? Also how do I put ordinary DVDs on in the same way I put my own CDs on the ipod?

have you tried adding the video by clicking file > add file to library in iTunes?

Yes but it doesn't appear in eith "movies" or "recently added"

I downloaded HandBrake and put a trojan on my PC, not so nice

If you are using windows media center (recorded TV from that), then mytvtogo.com is a great program. I use it to put stuff on my iphone

I have ocassionally have the sound and pictures a little out of sync, but I do not know if that is my set up, I have not looked into it (I am SUCH a slacker at times :rotfl: )

A great site for WMC (where i got the recommendation for mytvtogo) is thegreenbutton.com they may have something else to suggest
