Loft soaking wet from condensation - help!

vented tiles would be cheaper than changing facias and more effective. get some plastic boxes for your valuables and try leaving 100w light on in loft in extreme weather (make sure it is on a batten holder and well away from everything!)0

We are all suffering with the same problem ,my lagging is getting wet, so I have got a 12ft long by3 ft sheet of large bubble wrap and placed it loose on top of the lagging under the wet side it is working a treat, my lagging is protected and is is so easy to mop up any drips with kitchen roll -No messy fibres etc0

I have been plagued by condenstion in the loft too. I have lifted all the fibre glass, put down a polythene membrane between the rafters to stop damp permeating from below, plaster board is permeable. I have vents in the soffits, I have put hardboard panels between the trusses at the eaves to stop any possbility of the insulation blocking the eaves. I have put down 270mm of fibre glass. I've had 4 vent tiles put in each side of the roof. I have moved the bath room ventilator so that it vents directly through the wall rather than having the vent pipe going through the loft and out throught the soffit. I have put draught excluder round the loft hatch. I can feel the draught when I put my head in the loft.Today I was walking up the road and feeling smug because ours was the only (north facing) roof with frost on it still. I went in the loft looking for something and found condensation dripping off the north facing side. Anyone any ideas about what to do next - apart from waiting for summer and moving quickly?0
