TESCO Home Insurance - 50% offer (Re.MSE - 31st Dec)

Took MSE advice on seeking out insurance. Went online onto the TESCO site and received quotes ranging from £388.50 (Value) £447.30 (Standard) & £514.50 (Finest). The Value premium quoted is 30+% higher than my current insurer (MORETHAN) - but applying for the 50% discount on premium for accepting and paying before 7th January - have been told the premiums quoted INCLUDE the 50% discount.
So given that answer - should be able to go on the TESCO website on the 8th January - by feeding in the same information I expect that I should receive quotes approaching £770, £900 & £1030 respectively from TESCO. Don't think so!! - TESCO pulling a scam yet again- MARTIN duped??

That is based on your details though - someone else's may well be cheaper.
Saying that though I got new B&C insurance yesterday having previously been with Tesco and I have saved £150 a year with a better policy.0
