Hi,
I have all my calls run via a dialer via 18866, what number do I dial so that the actual call routes via BT and not via 18866 systems?

Owe,
And is there any company cheaper than 18866 now since I've noticed there connection costs are now 4p a call.

Dial 1280 to route your calls through BT.
https://www.call1899.co.uk is 3p connection charge and 0p per minute for 01/02 calls.

And dont forget that 18185 is only 4p for 0870s and 2p at weekends."Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0

But BT are cheaper at the evenings and weekends to call 0870 numbers. BT charge
Evening 3.75p a minute and Weekends 1.49p a minute. Min call charge of approx 5p applies but no connection fee of 4p like 18185.
Also if you make Landline to mobile calls 18185 is worth using.5p a minute Peak and Evenings ,2p at weekends .(4p connection).
Plus if you make E&W calls to 01/02 numbers get them free of charge from Primus saver. http://www.planet-talk.co.uk/SaverProducts.aspx?source=saverPF.0 -
1280 is number number to route calls back over the BT line if your calls are CPS'd to another supplier.
18866, 1899 and 18185 are indirect carriers, so you just dial those digits to access there service.
If your line isn't CPS'd and calls usually go via BT, but don't because of the dialler, then you need to find the dialler override code, this can be different from dialler to dialler. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0
