Maybe ive slipped up here been saving into the YBS regular savings account for the last 30 months but notice the interest rate is now low 4.25% as with most accounts.
I can get a better rate of interest with Tescos currently on a regular internet account soon to be 5.1%, should I consider transfering the funds out into the tesco internet savings account? If this is the correct course of action how do I stay within the current terms of the YBS regular saver to receive the interest from my savings next September.
I also have funds in the YBS esaver account paying 3.75% just dont no if I should shift all the funds to Tesco Internet account, or stick where I am or Try a Fix rate account any help apreciated :j

The YBS Regular saver lets you do one withdrawal per account year without affecting the bonus.
From a copy of the T&C's I took when I opened my RS account:-
"Withdrawing money
You can have one part withdrawal in each year of the account without affecting your bonus. You may also have up to two additional part withdrawals each account year. If you use this facility no bonus will be paid, but you will still receive the basic rate of interest for that account year. An account year starts from the date of opening your account."
However, the Tesco's rate is a 1 year bonus rate - after then it goes down to 3.6%.Do Money Saving sites make you buy more bargains - and spend more money?0 -
