Speak to your card companies? Surely that would be the first thing to do, so they can open disputes for the transactions, as opposed to posting anything here?0

You should be able to claim the entire £8870 back from one of the 3 credit card providers, you do NOT need to go to each one.
I would pursue this with the company that has paid you the £4000 and request the remaining £4870.
They have clearly acknowledged a breach by making the initial payment and they are therefore liable for the full amount.
Good Luck.0 -
I have been told by the credit card because I didnt make the claim with in 120 days they will not pay out anything is this right?0

It has been mentioned on here that there is a 120 day time limit to making a Section 75 claim, however in your case the Credit Card company has already acknowledged a breach by making a partial payment. They are obliged to repay you in full and put you back in the position you were in BEFORE you made the transaction.
IMO they are just trying to wriggle out of paying anymore. I would push them and demand satisfaction. If necessary follow the official compaints procedure. If still no result, then you can take them to the FOS (Finanical Ombudsman Service).0 -
