Debt ain't the end of the world, I am in the process of trying to solve mine, your mum is good with transferring your balance that is excellent support from her, she is trying to help you, my debt is approx 28k, payplan can help, so just taking everyday as it comes, you have to think about now not 5 years time the way i look at it, and everyone on mse is great they give you excellent support, and you will get out of this.

Sorry Payplan couldn't help you, Bumblebee. Try not to worry too much - phone CCCS. If not could you try CAB and also this board. Lots of people have done DIY DMPs. At least on here you are not alone - we're all in the same boat and taking each day as it comes. I try not to think about 2012 and how far off it is - but I know I am really going to enjoy the Olympics!

Am doing so much better today, first morning I have woke up and not wondered what I am going to do.

Glad I have got the credit card at 0% so at least I am going to be able to chip away at what I owe. Also managed (after a bit of a fight) to get Northern Rock to take the ppi off my loan, so that will be reduced and phoning round for a part-time job today, I believe you get a third of your shopping if you work in Asda!

Mum has been brilliant she was inititally furious but really just wanted to help, you always feel better after talking to your mum eh?
