Had an appointment with payplan this evening and they can't offer any help.
Spoke to my parents on the phone and confessed everything to them. That I am £13,000 worth of debt and can't pay it off.
Parent are furious with me but offered get a 0% credit card and put the card on that I will pay it off each month.
Got to get a part-time job now - no choice in that and a higher paid full-time job.
Feel so alone and ashamed.

I dont mean to pry but what were the reasons payplan gave you in sayng they couldnt help?
Maybe try cccs? Anything is worth a try.

They said the amounts i had given them to live on would not be possible and i would only be able to give £10 more to my creditors.
Am scared cccs will only say the same thing.0 -
The CCCS told me this morning that the only time they can not help someone is when you can only afford £5 per month to your creditors or that you only owe one company.
Give them a call, the guy i spoke to was so helpful and friendly, I have my call back tomorrow at 8am.
Keep smiling:jDebt Free At Last!:j0 -
Thanks Pixie they can only say 'no' eh?
I did not expect payplan to solve all my problems but i expected more support. I came off the phone really devasted.
Thanks for being so supportive.0 -
Youre welcome, I hope things go better for you with cccs. They open at 8am and i got through straight away, call them first thing and explain what payplan have already said to you. Ask loads of question and most of all dont give up!
Have you tried to come to arrangements with your creditors directly? Maybe that could be an option as a last resort.
Sorry Im harping on like an expert and Im in debt up to my ears.:jDebt Free At Last!:j0 -

Thanks Hilly,
Just wish i could feel more positive about things, i am usually a 'cup is half full' girl but that just floored me this evening, felt awful telling my parents and they were so angry. Off work tomorrow so going to sit down and make a constructive list about what i can do and start doing it. Just not handling things as well as I could be at the moment, but that can only get better.
Thanks for being so kind.0 -
I understand a little how u feel, payplan couldn't help us with our biggest problem either and that was owed council tax, all communication has basically broken down with the debt company and they wont even let us negotiate another repayment scheme, just threaten bailiffs all the time.Money's too tight to mention!!!0

Outlook is a little better, mum has got a 0% balance credit card and is going to put mine on it and I am going to pay the bill each month so at least i will be able to chip away at the balance due without any further interest going on it.
Going to apply for more part-time jobs tomorrow and better paid full-time jobs tomorrow. Feeling much better now and parents were really good, thanks to everyone for their support tonight i don't know what I would have done without you.0 -
i had to tell my parents about my credit card they loaned me £3500 to pay it off i felt crap but i had no other option now to pay my other debt off i will just have to be more careful but if i can do it you can , things will seem better after a few days , hilly0
