Cold Weather Payment, who should i complain too if no payment

I should have received a payment of £25 as the weather in Aberdeen was triggered in 1st week in December but who do i complain too to get my money as my friend told me about the payment as he works at the local DWP, any possible advice would be great.

    bjorky,

You need to be on IS to receive the CWP, and from your previous posts it appears that you are not?

Thanks dmg24, i do qualify for it but when it 1st started i didnt know 100%, i get the disability premium with my long term incapacity benefit cause my jobcentre disabilty advisor told me so, i know a payment was paid out on the 1st of Dec 2008 but i never got it but like everyone else on here, who do you take too to get your payment or who to complain to at pensions/jobcentre, they should advertise it on the dwp site, confuses alot of people who really need it.
  • Hi, I believe i am entitled to it also, I have a disabled child and receive both disability elements on Child Tax Credits, so according to the direct gov website should receive it. Yet nothing received!! Spent all morning phoning every job centre plus to tax credits people yet no one knows, just chased my tail round and round, yet my mother in law had her payment last week and she's only 18 miles from me. doesnt make sense!!!!!

I was told you have to receive income support AND fit the other criteria, so no income support = no payment

I'm in Aberdeen and haven't received anything yet (should do if it was triggered - I get income support + disability premium), neither has my mum in Dyce who gets pension credit. It's been at least a couple of years since I got the last one, so my memory could be fooling me, but I do seem to recall they've never been particularly prompt.
