What cable do I need to watch stuff through the PC on it?
Thanks,
Ww

Take a look at this thread from yesterday
Although it was a Sony tv, the same still applies...

Thanks for that cfbc. I did have a look through yesterday morning but got really confused.
Anyone tried it with a Panasonic...I've had loads of conflicting info from different people in different shops  ?
Anyone found a similar kit avialable on the high street?
Cheers,

You would need to say what kind of output you have on your pc before anyone can say for sure what you need.0

If your computer has a DVI connection
on the back you can get a cable that connects to this and then plugs into the HDMI slot in the back of your TV (next to your scart connections).
If you don't have the DVI connection you can buy a cheap graphics card that has one that you can fit into your PCSometimes i surprise myself by being right.0 -
geewhiz...that's just what's clicked in my head!!!
That adapter is OK for the scart but the sVHS bit wouldn't fit in my PC (sorry - no laptops here).
Standard cable on the pc is a VGA. Does that mean I need this:

Yes, that would work for you.0

Sorry to jump in here.
I used a switchable scart to 3 rca + s-video cable.
Laptop to Television, wanted to look at photos, they were only showing in black and white.
Any idea why I could not get them in colour.0 -

Most likely to be a problem with the cable, are any of the pins bent or is it quite an old tv ?0 -
TV is only one year old, Samsung LCD.
Pins look okay.0
