Help Needed on A Vegan Sunday Roast?

I can recommend the Tesco nut cutlets too - they are really nice! However, check the ingredients to make sure they are, in fact, vegan (it is possible they might contain egg).
I was once served a veggie roast with all the veg everyone else had, but the potatoes had been cooked with the meat! I don't think it occurred to my hosts that I wouldn't want to eat them! So don't do that! ( I am sure you wouldn't...)0 -
This site may help http://www.isitvegan.info/ go to the bottom after you enter the site and click on the bit where it says vegan data base(its in red|).There is drop down menus where you can find vegan food and its all in their own catergories ie beef, biscuits, gravy and tells you the manufacturer of the products from well known stores like co-op.0

My daughter is a vegetarian (not vegan) For her Christmas dinner I made a roasted vegetable flan which she said was scrummy and we had it cold with salad later. If you could find some vegan fat to make the pastry with then use it to line a flan case. Bake it "blind" for a while. Then I roasted peppers, red onions, garlic, courgettes, aubergine, carrots etc. Then I made a paste of olive oil, sun dried tomato paste, garlic, few herbs and mixed it into the veg, put it all into the flan and cook a bit longer. Found the recipe in a BBC vegetarian "Good food" magagzine.0

Try this
A cup full of split lentils, in a pan with enough water to cover, cook till mushy, approx 15 mins, drain.
Add some breadcrumbs of half a crumbled weetabix, a tsp of marmite, mix to form a stiff mixture, place in a shallow loaf tin, cook on a med heat til firm.

Thanks for all the ideas.
I have asked his preferance and also offered the option of a veggie chilli. Basically tomatoes, kidneys beans, mushrooms, onion, chick peas and maybe a tin of baked beans added together with a little chilli powder and chillies, served with either rice or baked potatoe. Will also have a side salad and grated cheese (for us)..LOL.
Does that sound OK?

Thanks for all the replies guys-I really apreciate them!
We have decided on a veggie chilli and will do a buffet type thing. So there will be: Veg chilli, baked spuds, boiled rice with peas, mixed salad, HM Garlic bread with olive oil and fresh garlic, HM quiche (he cant have but the rest of us can:D -will be chicken+onion+cheese+mushroom, HM Pizza (he cant have either), HM Potatoe Salad and Colesalw (he cant have).
Found out that its more for dietary reasons but will sometimes eat a little dairy but his tummy can sometimes play up.
For pudding am doing a fruit crumble (with marg) and soya icecream.
Thanks again
