Hi
I just got my bill from orange and it show access for 1899/1866/18185 is chargeable I am on an orange monthly contract (everyday 50).
Contacted orange they tell me they started charging from 1st December 2005, at 10p per minute by removing all free calls on 0800/0808 from all contracts can someone else confirm my worst fears, at the moment I cannot see a way round this.
regards league

Yes it was widely publicised by members on this and other forums and the news groups a few months in advance and regularly from then on that Orange was dropping free calls to free phone numbers, on most of their tariffs, some people have managed to get Orange to continue the free calls for at least another 12 months or until you change tariffs. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0

Do you not get a warning when dialing "Freefone" numbers? (voice message by a lady that says "This call is chargeable")0
