Uswitch & the likes - how accurate ???
Hi all
Just put my electric & gas details into Uswitch. Said SWEB Online Dual Fuel could save me £69.70. However on EDFenergy website it says SWEB do not supply my post code area. The savings they claim are available through London Energy, £69.70, accoding to the London Energy site it is actually £0. Whilst their call centre reluctantly worked it out as a saving of £50 per year !!
I have also had similar, non consistant results from other independant sites.
Question is which is correct ! I`d hate to moove to find I`m not saving anything.
I`m glad I did not go ahead & sign up through the Uswitch site.
Has anyone else had similar experiences with Uswitch & the likes, or am I alone in this?
Cheers Icarus

The prices for EDF companies via a comparison site is lower than direct from EDF.
What I mean by this is you can only get the reduced EDF rate by going via the comparison site and not direct via EDF.
I prefer http://www.energyhelpline.com/cashbackmse as I am susupicious of uSwitch. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0
