First Direct £50

Hi guys happy new year...

Just a few quick questions

How much do i have to pay in???

If i recommend some do i get another £50???

I am currently between jobs, so will i still be able to join???

Do the banks to a check on your credit to see if you are a reliable customer before giving you just a savings account?

When I applied for Egg saving account two searches were recorded on my Experian file. One was 'Unrecorded Enquiry' (cannot be seen by other lenders); the other was 'IDENTIFICATION: MONEY LAUNDERING PREVENTION'. I think neither of them aimed to check my credit history.

BTW, why this thread? It is about current account, not saving account ...
