I have an execution only account at the moment but was also thinking of getting an additional advisory account.
Does anyone have an advisory account? What benefits, if any, will this give me?

Advice.
No, seriously, that's the basic difference between an execution-only and an advisory account. If you feel you want help and advice when buying shares, take the advisory account. If you feel you always want to do your own research and not rely on what other people tell you (remember, the guy at the other end of the phone doesn't necessarily know more than you), stick with the execution only account.Mmmm, credit crunch. Thanks for the follow up as I have read they try to palm off rubbish shares that they have bought.0
