How to autotune my new TV?

I feel so dumb!

I got my new Sony KDL 32V4000 or whatever and tried to do the autotune without the aerial plugged in, so it only picked up 3 analogue channels???

Even with the instruction leaflet, I cannot work out how to get autotune again.

Can anyone help please?

    Should be an installation option on the menu. Tuning is usually under that.

    The Manual states the option is in the Set-Up Menu under Auto Start Up

    Auto Start up will tune both Analogue and Digital Channels whereas Auto-tuning will only scan for Analogue channels

    Thank you both very much for your replies.

    I have now found it under Menu and Settings and then an obscure looking icon which is Channel Setup.

    But I still feel dumb (forgetting to plug in the aerial).

    More haste less speed and a happy new year to you all.
