Having Trouble installing Wireless Printer... pls help!!

Hi
Ive just bought the Lexmark X6690 Wireless Printer... when I put the CD in our laptop drive it won't load... I don't know what's wrong but it does whirrr.
Does anyone have any ideas I can try??

Could you not go to My computer, Right click on cd/dvd drive (e) and Explore, run setup from there. Alan.Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm WELSH. .0

Thanks... yes ive tried manually installing it both ways... maybe its the CD that's the problem.. the CD/DVD drive plays other CD's... can I download software online? i've googled it but no joy..0
