  • Just to update on my jealous post, I have managed to bag one for myself!! They had 3 of the cameras at Boots in Camberley, so I got my Dad to get one for me. Thanks very much to the OP.

I got mine from boots on the Isle of Wight and they had another 2 left that i could see.

Thanks to all of you for your reviews. I have taken some pictures with the full zoom and they do seem a bit shaky, is there some software that can sort this out??

Also does anyone know what the best price for a xd card is as they seem more expensive than my SD card.

    Thank you

    Suzanna

I have this camera and it is excellent quality if your stepping into the DSLR market, especialy for that price.
Fujinon lenses are quite good, and this camera is better than most with night shots.
    £2 savers club = £83.50

Just bought one of these, looks fine so far. Only problem is that it comes with only a 16MB xd picture card so it looks as if it needs a 512MB ot 1 Gb card to store a lot of pictures or use the video function to any extent.

Assume these prices are competitive, unless anyone knows better

The batteries appear to be standard AA Alkaline but may use some Ni Cd Rechargeable.
  • I got one from Boots at Robin Park Wigan yesterday, they had 2 left when I came out of the shop. Took a couple of photos today and i'm quite impressed with the quality and the speed. BTW someone told me the maxium size of xd card it takes is 512mb if anyone knows different let me know before I buy one.

It would appear so (ie, max 512 Mb) judging from the specs on Fujifilm's own website ...
