im wondering if anyone knows if ariston combis are good/reliable etc please.
im having quotes now and one gas fitter recommended the ariston aco 35?
im also being quoted on a worcester 30 si and 30 cdi, also a baxi platinum 30.
any helps appreciated - i expect quotes to all be within a couple of hundred pounds of each other.
i just want a reliable combi boiler. what would you go for. i dont know anyone with an ariston combi.
cheers

I fitted a Ariston MicroGENUS 24 HE two years ago in a property I rent out, excellent price, and no problems at all.0

I wouldn't recommend one, they come from the factory not set up, the installer must use a gas analyser when commissioning and they often seem to have problems with explosive ignition. They need a specialist to install really.
My own choice would be a Vaillant 831 ecotec.Mine needed a new fan so that must be whats wrong with yours:D0 -
Worcester have an excellent reputation. I am not familiar with Ariston but the last one we had was a Gloworm which lasted 30 years. They say new boilers just don't last as long especially the type we have i.e. a condensing one but as it was fitted under the
Warm Front scheme we had no choice. (Not complaining of course) As a matter of interest, all new builds must have condensing boilers due to government regs.0 -
