Single Month Contents Insurance

Hi,
Does anyone know if (and where) it's possible to get single month or short term contents insurance?
I only need insurance till March and my current provider is insisting I sign up for a whole year and then pay a cancellation fee of about £50 (which is almost half the year's cost!)!!
Thanks!

Hi there
Can you give us a bit of background here? Why do you only need cover for a short time? If it is a case of you are moving in with someone else and they already have Contents cover, their insurer should be willing to give you some temporary cover at your current property and their one too.In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0 -
Hi,
I'll be going travelling/emigrating and will no longer have an address in this country so can't even transfer the insurance across to another house! I have a feeling I'll be out of luck (as my situation isn't the norm) but thought it was worth asking if anyone knew!!0 -
I used to deal with a policy called Paymentshield- they we always pay as you go, month at a time policies. I think you could only get them through brokers though.0
