Lunch time study

Hi,
I'm starting my next OU Spanish course in February & I'm trying to work out some kind of study timetable. I work full time near Oxford Circus & will spend the hour it takes on the tube/train reading. I need some ideas for where I might be able to do some written work in my lunch hour. It won't be possible at my work place as the kitchen/dining area is also used as a meeting room, also I like to escape in my lunch hour. I'd like to know if there's a place in the West End where I'd be able to get a table, a bite to eat & a chance to scribble away furiously. Has anyone any good ideas? Many Thanks.

Starbucks: I know it sounds quite zen but most of the Starbucks have lovely comfy chairs. And the one in Borders on Oxford Street is lovely; and not as busy as one would think at all. It tends to be more quiet than other Starbucks' as it is in a bookshop.
Holborn Library: That's the only thing I can think of that isn't an actual library. You could always go to the Holborn Library as well if you wanted.Credit Card paid back in Full (June 2011): :j £500 in the clear -

Thanks,
Starbucks sounds more appealing than the library. I might also check out the John Lewis 5th floor cafe, it sounds as though it won't be heaving. If I'm not careful I'll do more shopping than studying!0 -

There is a church near to Oxford Circus: I think it is called All Souls (Langham Place). See if it is open over lunch: if so it would be a good work space, and you would not be tempted to spend any money there.
And good luck with the course. I did one of the OU Spanish courses and really enjoyed it.0 -

That may be true for some but I only have an hour for lunch & ideally would grab a bite to eat at the same time. I can't eat at my desk. I don't know of any libraries within walking distance of Oxford Circus/Bond Street anyhow. When the weather is good, my favourite option is the park but I'm not brave enough for that in winter.:snow_laug0 -
some days you may need to access your account, so you may need to take this into considerationUsing my phone to post - apologies in advance for any typos0
