Vegetarian haggis by McSweens are in Tesco all year round, in Scotland anyway
Sounds like I'll need to try the Lidl one though at that price0 -
I can also recommend the Lidl's one. Had it a few times and got one ready and waiting in the freezer for Burns Night!0

Haggis hankering hampered :
"Alan Pirie of James Pirie and Son, the reigning Scottish haggis-making masters, said: "With good turnips and potatoes, there's nothing more nutritious than haggis. It's made of all natural ingredients - there's no rubbish in it at all. To compare it with processed meat like chicken nuggets or hot dogs is just ridiculous. It's a big knock for us for it to be compared to those."........

Blast, I was going to head off to Lidl to get a haggis tomorrow, but the place is closed for a refurb and open again on the 26th. Blast, blast, blast. Oh well, butchers for mine in the morning. Thanks for the tip. Tatties and neeps are waiting.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde0
