High Rate DLA

I have just been awarded High Rate DLA. Do I have to inform Income Support, Tax Credits and the Council as our rent is paid by housing benefit?
Also I use our car to get to the hospital every three weeks. Our tax expires at the end of Jan 09. Am I entitled to free car tax? I get high rate mobility and care. If I do how do I claim it, what do I have to do?
Thanks in advance
Phoebe

Phone 08457123456 and ask about a VED for your car tax.
If you have any other benefits that are based on the household income or are means tested, I would inform them that your DLA has increased. That way you should covered if any overpayment or underpayment is made.0
