Although the email stated that it would be 1pm, I actually went on there about 10.30am and the sale was up and running. The site was quite slow then but I did persist and got my order through this morning! Have been wanting the Puffin mug for ages!!!0

Although the first page says they are snowed under, I did a search for sale which came up with a few mugs, from there the top left orange line had a link to SALE.
Still way too expensive for me, but lovely stuff.0 -
Just got on to sale page and it says mugs £9.00 each (!!) reduced to..........£9.00 each!! wot a sale eh??0

Thanks for posts 1, 2 - my sister loves puffins and there is not much made with them on - and our family do like E B pottery! Thanks to post 3, or else I wouldn't have persevered trying to get into the site after looking on the homepage.
I've clicked on the thanks button, but wanted to post to share how much it is appreciated.
Janie63 - whilst the was and now is the same for the £9 - i think this is a glitch by whoever entered them on the site, the mugs do normally retail at £15.95, and if you look on ebay, the discontinued ones do go for a lot more at times! I think you have to ignore the discount, and think am I prepared to pay £9 for a certain mug - as lots of E B fans definitely are!0 -
Website now down
It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice0 -
Hi, just been on the website again to see if it is working, no such luck. But then while I was on the website and got the "we are too busy" message, I entered /sale after the website address. eg, https://www.emmabridgewater.co.uk/sale I have just bought my things and the website worked no problems!
Enjoy!

Emma Bridgewater current stock mugs retail normally for around £15. The reason it states £9 from £9 is because these are old favourites which have been remade especially for the sale. I have wanted the Puffin mug for ages and the only way to get one was eBay for around £25 to £35 per mug. I love Bridgewater and have lots of it but even I was not prepared to pay that! So that price is because it is a special, it is not normally stock so there is nothing to price it against

Website is working now, but to be honest theres no real bargains, most items are only reduced by one or two pounds.0
