in Praise, vent & warnings
I bought a USB microphone on Amazon.com and stupidly didn't check the total cost as 'Eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping' popped up underneath the item price. I've been charged nearly double what the item cost for shipping and handling and i really can't afford it.. I've e-mailed them and explained the situation. Has anybody had any experience with amazon and do you think i can get the order cancelled?

    Can you not log into the account and cancel the order?

    Or did you do it a couple of days ago and they have already shipped?

    The items been shipped.. I only realised when i got the shipping confirmation e-mail when the costs were shown a lot clearer!
    I checked the super saver delivery but as i ordered from the American website i did not qualify :(

    Just put it down to experience, its hardly Amazons fault

    I always find super saver is pretty fast anyway. I have had stuff come within days of ordering even at Christmas

    Yes, i am aware it is not Amazons fault. I should of been more observant!
    I didn't qualify for the super saver so i'm not sure what the delivery service is going to be. I e-mailed them as soon as i got the confirmation e-mail, fimgers crossed they will get back to me :/

    good point, and also when you checkout they show you all the prices your charged for shipping, p&p and everything it totalled at the bottom in like like size 3 lettering

    Yes! They have told me to refuse the delivery and i will get a full refund, really suprised that they would do that! :T
    Oh and the total is on the right hand side and i didn't really pay attention to it which was very stupid i know!
