Who are Creation Financial Services? They're on my credit report!

I have just looked at my credit report and seen that I have a credit / store card with these people. It is registered to my old address and says I have 2 pound credit. I can't think who it is for...I was a student at the time and opened a few store cards, most of which I thought were now cancelled. Is there anyway of finding out what this is?

Alternatively are the details for contacting them not on your credit report?

they took over the old DUET brand i think. Why don't you write to them and ask them to refund your £2 and close the account

if you look at www.duet.co.uk it shows which stores accept this card. It may refresh your memory. The account will not show as SETTLED or SATISFIED (closed) on a credit reference agency until there is a nil balance. So, if your account is even one penny in credit it will show as active. If this is the case, just ring them as ask them to return the credit balance or debit it from your accout and donate it to charity. The account will then update as closed. Hope this helps.
