We have a new ipod touch and existing vodafone home broadband & wireless router. The touch picks up the vodafone at home connection but wont allow a connection. I think it needs me to key in a security access password. How do i get this password keyed in on the touch. Cant seem to work it out.

well as it picks it up what you need to do is go into settings
press on wifi
it will then show your wireless network (with a padlock)
all you need to do is touch the name and it should then ask for the key.....now if i remember right (i have an iphone) is you need to type in the key as in the numbers...NOT the name you put in to get the key
example...password is cat but key is 123456789.....
To get the actually key you will need to acess your router settings and it will show you in thereIf you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly
I've only ever been wrong once! and that was when I thought I was wrong but I was right0 -
Mine accepted my 'normal' password for the wireless network, not a numerical one. once it's been accepted once, you don't need to keep entering every time you access it.0
