Argos Discount codes thread

I bought an item online to be delivered and got an email with 2 x £5 vouchers (im not to happy that you cant use £10 in one shop this is very misleading ) i want to use my code to reserve something online and pick it up & pay instore but when i reserve this item there is no where to put in the code .Can you not use the voucher codes in this way ?

Nope, buy in store, get vouchers to use in store, buy online, get vouchers for using online. Seems thats the way it works.

Argos were doing a prommtion last week where if you spent over £100, they gave you a £20 voucher - double their usual promotion. But the catch was they gave one voucher to be used in october and one for november, which is a pain if you want £20 off something big.

Well earlier I used my october voucher to buy something that was on offer. When I got it home it was a bit rubbish so i've just returned it. Obviously, they gave me another gift card, BUT this has a whole year on it. So if you buy something with your october card, then take it back, you can have a new card, which can be used with the november one.

Or do the same in november and you have £20 to spend anytime in the next year.

Apologies if this has already been posted or was blindingly obvious to everyone else. I've just stumbled across it so though I would share.

They give you cards?
In Barnsley, the discounts are printed on the till receipts so they just tick one off when it's used, staff say 'it saves time running through the tills'
