New TV has scratches already

When I sorted my gran and grandad out with a new TV I informed their cleaner she wasnt to touch it with anything not even a wipe with a dry cloth I know how much the slightest peice of grit/dirt caught between the cloth and car paint or plastic can cause scratches. so the cleaner would use the same cloth to clean everything else in the house and the TV.
No, I used the cloth provided by the TV manufacturer.thethinkingman

Just return it to Empire, tell them it was scratched when you opened it but waited untill everything died down after christmas before returning it. They should offer a replacement.0
