And WhoTF made you in charge??
Honestly, is there ANY need to be so rude?
And you're only 18????????
Wind your neck in kiddo, you like to whinge at people a lot for posting in the wrong place don't you, get over it !!!!!!!
I think that they are probably older than 18 if they have being donating blood for over 30 years.
Looking at their recent posts it does look like they are all about posting in the wrong place. Perhaps they have become fed up with all the post in the wrong place and it has become a bit of a hunt.
Roger made a fair point, I suppose it is a fine line.
I had a look through the different forums and I could not find one that was appropriate so I was harsh on the OP, sorry. Perhaps we need a misc board, LOL.0 -
Don't worry, not all of us are that grumpy! :rotfl:I would take people posting in the wrong place anyday of the week compared to what my friends and family are going through at the moment.
The point being made is that once everyone is allowed to post in the wrong place the entire MSE site will become a free for all and lose its real value - which is that there is a lot of useful information on here, and it is best served when everyone knows where to look. You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -
Sorry IF (???) this is the wrong thread!
How about 'Sorry THAT this is the wrong thread'?
What on earth has this got to do with 'Quick - grabbit while you can'?
Answer .. absolutely nothing.
Please stop wasting the time of MSE'ers who come on here looking for a genuine bargain!
Cause your time is soo precious, hence the reason why your on this site in the first place.
You wasted a whole 5 seconds, might not be useful to you, but maybe to others0 -
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.
As an aside, I have to say even I was a little stumped as to the best place for this thread. I've decided on the Employment board.

I guess that the answer should be then, that it is fine to tell people that they have posted in the wrong place, but to do it in a polite way!
Manners dont cost anything, and after all this this is a moneysaving site.

i think some people on here need to take a chill pill. All this bickering makes for a boring read.0

If you have an inkling you might be posting in the wrong place, it's sheer laziness if you don't make a concerted effort to find a better fit for it.
The 'the mods'll move it' argument also doesn't work here - there are no mods, just volunteer guides that have day jobs.
In the case of grabbit, it is very clear indeed that this is not for this type of post - as there is a sticky at the top of the board that tells everyone what it is for!
Also some people use this forum on a mobile phone and would just like to read the relevant info not all the bickering. The title of the post was obvious that it wasn't a grabbit so just hover over it, see what it is and ignore. Simple.
As for the original question I thought it was £6k of spending giving £600 discount. The cards were recharged with £6k in November so if your limit has been reached either you've done some serious Christmas shopping or your card hasn't been topped up.0 -

Right, well there must be different people using the same account as in 2006, they were 16.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
sorry if this is the wrong thread, but can any one who works for morrisons tell me what the yearly spend allowance is on your discount card.
my wife used hers the other day and was told it was over limit.her boss says its £650 a year but i thought it is £6500 a year.
thank you
That's so typical of a Morrisons store manager! £650 will not cover 6 weeks for some customers.
I think Sainsburys' discount card is either limitless or £10,000. Though to be fair Sainsburys has electrical, clothing and a better non-food section (electrical, kitchenware etc). And for the last 6-7 weeks of the year, the discount is 15%! My friend purchased a £700 tv for £595!"The reason we're successful, darling? My overall charisma, of course." -- Freddie Mercury

It is not illegal to open another persons mail unless you intend to commit fraud - this is frequently incorrectly posted
I live in my head - I find it's safer there:p
