got my statement from studio recently and it said my account is overdue so they have charged me £20 admin charge and £1 service charge.
i emailed them - as you can never get though on the phone - anyway 6 days later they replied and told me as i hadn't paid by the due date they had every right to charge me.
fair enough except - the money for this bill came out of my account a day before it was due (28th) but they are trying to say they have no record of it until the (7th of jan) which is 10days later!!
they are saying its my responsiblity to make sure the money reaches them on time - well as far as i'm concerned it did - a day before - my bank statement says so.
i am supposed to take their word for the fact it didn't reach them on time - where did my money go for 10 days !?!
what more was i supposed to do ? my bank account shew it as paid and i believed it !

Have you highlighted that fact that the money went out in advance?, although I believe transfers take around 3-4 days anyway(?) so will potentially still have missed the payment deadline...
Is it via a direct debit or did you do a "manual" bank transfer?
If you show them proof (if not already done so) that the money left, they may reconsider if you have been a great (paying on time, plenty of orders, etc.) customer to them in the past perhaps."Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."

Studio are always really quick to charge fees, I would try the phone, and if it comes to it, even offer to let them see the bank statement.
I had to start using ther catalogue when we were on incapacity - had no choice really, but all I want to do now i pay them off and never order from them again.Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Did the money leave your bank account the day before it was due at their end? If so this can affect it as sometimes it can take 5-7 working days so if you paid at a weekend then what can you expect? But if you didnt then you have every reason to be madWeight Loss - 102lb0
