NatWest and A&L e-Savers - interest rates dropped

Hi
I'm hoping that Yorkshire Boy will see this and comment, but all comments welcome...
Like so many other MSErs, I put some money (actually stooze money) into the NatWest savings account (another thread here today gives the latest interest rate fall), and the A&L Account.
Is there any reason to keep these now? I am with Egg Money, and their interest rate remains at 4% (not sure how much longer of course).
I wondered if there was any good reason for staying with these two savings accounts any longer?
Thanks
Jen

I have £1 in each of the accounts you mention, but won't be putting any more in until rates improve. Keeping NatWest in 'reserve', and only opened A&L for the £20 cashback (on my third now
)
I wouldn't rely on Egg Money. In fact, I expect Egg Money to cut it's rate (and possibly cashback?) substantially this month (no inside knowledge, but the card's been withdrawn for new customers and they must have taken a heck of a hit on the 6.3% fix they offered last year).
Despite it's terrible reputation, it looks like the Tesco Internet Saver is the best around at the moment for instant access.0 -
Thanks, YorkshireBoy, you're one of the stalwarts of this site. Thanks for all your time and energy!
Happy New Year!
