Following on from my earlier post , I did managed to reserve another one of the Nokia 6020 bundles at one of the stores in Widnes.
Called into the store this afternoon and it was a carbon copy of my experience yesterday and Arogs's Northwich branch.

They would not honour this offer and it seems to me that head office have no idea what is going on and have not got the common sense to remove this offer that is still available on their website as I type this.

If you do manage to grab this then you should consider yourself very lucky and maybe stick a tenner on the euro lottery tonight because it might be your lucky day!!.

Customer service people dont have to give their surname but then again they might not have a clue what the phone looks like. tbh you have to deal with things you dont even know exist but it is shame companys cant honour they own mistake. how hard is it to put a small text to say sorry or somegting.

So when you went to pay did they tried to charge you the full price, or did it register £29.99 and the cahsier knew they had to "check" on this product?

I managed to collect these tonight in Cambridge. Offer didn't register at till, but assistant took my reservation printout to the manager and then came back to override the price at the till. A great result from what I am reading here.

Good luck to those of you collecting their phones tomorrow.

when i ordered it was £29.99 on reserve but when i got there it was £109.99
so dont look like they are being honoured eh nice one to the above lol

I just managed to get the items reserved at my local Argos.....just thinking if you pay using the quick Pay system surely it'll bring up the reserved price.......it has done before...!! Will let you know how it goes...!!

the price you pay is the price on the day, the reservation isnt a contract, so youll have to see when you do it on quickpay

Quickpay said £79.99 and I didn't feel like arguing with anyone as the bundle voucher said it waw only valid until yesterday. Saved me £30 :rotfl:
