where do i get avast from and is it free?

just been reading a little of the security post above and wondered where you get this avast from and is it free??

£90.33 ( reduces term to 21yrs !!)
Saved over £11K in interest so far WOOHOO!!
Were not rich just paying off tiny bits here and there.

    it still says Avira uses more resources (I thought it was the opposite?)

    The articles are live and are always being updated/improved upon. Which certainly makes sense in the computing world where software changes and apps disappear, fall out of favour, new ones introduced etc. I'd be a bit worried if the articles weren't being changed at all.

    Why not contact/post on the thread to have it amended? I've done so in the past on other articles and had my suggestions added etc.
