I lost lots and lots of photos (no, not pr0n) in 2003/4ish.....

I'd given up any hope......

(I wiped teh HDD and started afresh, but i've filled the HDD up since then)

well, was worth a shot..... wish i'd thought about it earlier....

suppose it's what happens when you buy a copy of windows xp from a market for £4!

(lost about 12 mo worth of photos....goddamit!)

you'd be surprised, its all about where new data is written to the hdd.

i recovered data off a hdd last month, and some of the stuff on there was at least 12 months old.

give it a shot. :j
