  • Thanks for the tip - I've just ordered a cd and some dvd's and saved myself £5.25 in total ;D -

Noticed I could have saved money on earlier purchases but I've only recently found out about this site from listening to the Jeremy Vine show.

    Thanks again :-*

As I've not bought from Cd-wow before, can anyone tell me when do I enter the code for the extra £1 off? Is it after the payment details??
    Cheers ;D

Yes. Theres an option to redeem an "e-voucher" in the paying process.

Ye, the quid link is duff now! Any ideas?
  • Try this - http://www3.cd-wow.com/index.php?affid=11954 it is link from NHS discounts website (30p off standard prices). Not sure if it wil work for non-NHS people but give it a go if £1 off does not turn up.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with CD Wow, Joanne, but I would say you're in a tiny minority.

I shudder to think how many CDs and DVDs I have bought from them in the last few years because I can't resist when their prices are so cheap and the service is so good every time.

They've only made two or three mistakes with my orders and when they got it wrong they acknowledged it, apologised and sorted it out promptly. I got discount vouchers on more than one occasion by way of apology.

The same thing happened to me regarding the Live Aid DVD by the way, except CD Wow sent me a replacement within about 10 days. It's a bit longer than it normally takes for an order to be delivered but I think what happened was that their suppliers sold them the wrong version of the box set in the first place and they only found out on the release date because there was such high demand for this long-awaited DVD.

I'm sure that if you do give them a second chance they will not disappoint. Bear in mind that this is the busiest time of year to order, so delays do happen.
