So far in Jan it's been NSD's all the way - something to do with me being ill & it being FREEZING outside. Perhaps that's the secret to solving my debt, be ill more often lol?! Hope you're all having a nice Friday night xxTarget debt - Loan left over from previous relationship - c. £3700

HI Jenna, i have just come off night shifts, I was reading your posts in the early hours of this morning and i must say how brave you are. It must be awful situation but you are one of the amazing persons on here tyring to keep positive and do better. Well done. I never really understood things like ME and depression until i got diagnosed 3 months ago. I am on happy pills, only mild dose but they have really helped. None of my family know just my best friend and work people, i live at home too. How they dont know! But anyways, i know maybe a little how hard it must be for you. But you sound really upbeat tonight so keep it going. Its great step to do the budgets. I am on mega savings drive. Try and look for anything and everything free!! Its amazing what you can get!! Get a buzz out of it too!! I got through today 2 magazines from dead cheap subscriptions i have for the year. It will keep me going a week of so! Takes me ages to read them!!lol
Feel free to PM me, im on nights and days so if im on ill reply

Thanks Tallie for your supportive words
I can't say I feel terribly brave or anything like that though! More just tired and glad I don't need to move from the couch for a while hehe.
My Dad worked nights (he was a nurse) when I was a kid, that's a mean shift for the old bodyclock to handle! What do you do?
Sorry to hear about your depression, it's a real shame you don't feel able to talk to your family about it though I do know how that goes. It's good you have your friend & colleagues to talk with though.
I've been seeing a psych to try & resolve some of my issues and get myself back on a more 'even keel' emotionally. Have you thought about anything like that? I guess it depends on what the depression has been caused by but yeah, ditto, if you need a chat I'm around okay?
How have you found the meds btw, do they make you numb or how do they make you feel? That's the main thing I'm worried about with pills really.
Take care xxTarget debt - Loan left over from previous relationship - c. £3700

Finally feeling tired (as opposed to tired, but completely wired!) so am gonna head off to get some sleep. Gonna try to get into town tomorrow to pick up some books, pay in cheques etc. Also gonna try to work for a couple hours to offset this week's lost pay (not completely of course (!) but something is better than nothing & it'll stop me worrying about what's in my Inbox. Also gonna do that budget & post that up so you can all have a good nosey
lol. Night xx Target debt - Loan left over from previous relationship - c. £3700

Hi Jenna (although I hope you're sleeping at the moment...;))
Just found your thread and wanted to stop in and say hi and wish you all the best for 2009. Mr P suffers from fibromyalgia and depression (which play havoc with his sleep pattern, due to the meds!) so I do understand a bit about where you are coming from. I myself am a bit of an insomniac (he sleeps for both of us...!!:rotfl:) which is why i am posting here at this time of the morning...:p
I hope you manage to negotiate something with work - as a self-employed freelancer, I understand the issue of "no work, no pay" and the additional pressure that this can bring...
Hugs, and hope things get better for you soon...!:D

Sorry chaps but I'm going to subject you to my late-night ramblings once again! Can't sleep as I didn't text my manager to let him know I've been ill this week & therefore not working (would have been no point as he's on holiday anyway) but I've suddenly got really paranoid that he'll be angry I didn't try and get in touch.
Also thinking about my budget tomorrow & dreading it, think it'll end in yet another fight between me and OH & don't want that. But he seems to think I'm some sort of overdraft service (an interest free one at that!) and just presumes that I'll have the dollar to cover him if there's a shortfall. Men. Grr! Sorry I'm sure there are lots of sensible ones - just none that I know lol!
Okay ... now I've got that off my chest I'll try (again!) for some shut-eye. Hope you're having a more restful night than me!

Mind you, saying that, I am off to bed in a minute ... particularly as my laptop battery is starting to run very low and I can't be @r$ed to plug it in.

Write down anything that's worrying you at the moment so you can deal with it in the morning, then try and get some sleep.
