    A&L online saver issue 2: 5.15% gross p.a./AER (variable) includes
    bonus of 0.90% until 31.03.07, max balance £25K.

    Are there any pitfalls that I am not aware off?

    Just signed up myself grumbler. The way I see it, is they'll have to make 3 x 1/4 point rate cuts before it drops below 4.5%.

    BTW, I've never seen you ask a question before - you're normally answering them, so this is a first! ;)

    It's not information as such. Just my thoughts that, because the 0.9% bonus is fixed for around 14 months, then they would have to make 3 cuts to the underlying rate before the overall rate falls below the fairly standard 4.5 - 4.65% rates paid by many providers.
